Our Story.........

Connecting to the soil

Connecting to the soil

Connecting to the soil

Our agriculture experience began and continues today with blackberries. We  grow both thorned and thornless berries for our own consumption today. We make them into vinegars, jams and oh yes, blackberry cobblers!

Wedding day

Connecting to the soil

Connecting to the soil

Brian and I were married under the trees here on a cool October day nearly a decade ago. It's a love story I never tire of telling. It was an old-fashioned wedding where guests brought food to share instead of gifts. Memories to sustain a lifetime.

Buzz........

Connecting to the soil

And then came flowers

Bees are a fascinating creature and they go hand in hand with agriculture. We have several hives in our apiary and look forward to honey in the spring and summer. Come meet with us at the Wise County or Denton County Beekeepers monthly meetings

And then came flowers

And then came flowers

And then came flowers

Once the scent of flowers fills the greenhouse there's nothing better!  It's a privilege and a blessing to be able to grow and harvest spectacular flowers for months every spring.  We're trying new varieties every year and work between crops  to improve the soil for the coming year,

Tomorrow......

And then came flowers

Tomorrow......

Who knows what tomorrow brings? We love the feel of our farm, the joy we feel listening to the humming birds fight over the feeders and the cardinals calling all through April for their mates. We're taking this love for our farm one day at a time...........
